1. Who we are

CodeBrewerz LLP is the data controller for information collected through LogiHaul. Contact our Privacy Officer at support@codebrewerz.com for any data-related queries. We respond within 30 days.

2. Data we collect

You provide directly:

• Account information: name, email, phone, password (hashed).
• Business details: company name, GSTIN, billing address (optional).
• Trip and invoice data you enter or upload.

Collected automatically:

• Device model, OS version, and app version.
• App usage patterns and crash reports via Firebase.
• IP address for security monitoring only.

From device hardware:

• Camera — accessed only when you initiate a scan. Raw images are deleted from our servers within 24 hours of OCR completion.
• Photo library — accessed only when you choose to upload an image.
• Biometrics — handled entirely by your device OS; we never store biometric data.

3. How we use your data

• To provide, maintain, and improve the app.
• To process invoices via OCR and generate bills.
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To send transactional notifications (not marketing, unless opted in).
• To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with:

• Trusted service providers (cloud hosting, OCR APIs, Firebase) bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal authorities when required by law or court order.
• A successor entity in a merger or acquisition, with prior notice to you.

5. Data security

• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
• Stored data is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
• Invoice images are auto-deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
• We will notify you within 72 hours of any data breach affecting your information.

6. Data retention

• Account data: retained for 90 days after account deletion.
• Billing records: retained for 7 years (Indian Income Tax Act compliance).
• Crash and analytics logs: auto-purged after 12 months.

7. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. You may withdraw marketing consent anytime. To exercise your rights, email support@codebrewerz.com.

8. Children's privacy

LogiHaul is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover such data, it will be deleted immediately.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification at least 15 days before they take effect. The current policy is always available in app settings.
